Description
The Branch Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of the branch office in which they are employed and for the branch’s profits and losses.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the team and personal production.
- Recruiting for branch positions.
- Financial responsibility in partnership with Sales Leadership.
- Mortgage loan production, marketing, and sales performance.
- Operating the branch office in full compliance with all federal, state, city, and county laws and regulations.
- Negotiating all Loan Officer employment agreements and employing personnel through Corporate Human Resources.
- Providing an approved Annual Operating Budget that sets forth anticipated income and itemized operating costs.
- Authorizing the employment or termination of individuals for the branch in accordance with laws and Panorama Mortgage Group policies.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising Loan Officers and staff.
- Soliciting and procuring loan applications and facilitating their processing.
- Attending all Manager meetings or providing a valid excuse for absence.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Knowledge of the principles and theories relevant to the role.
- Three (3) years of prior management experience.
- Proven experience in developing and leading a team of sales professionals within the mortgage industry.
- Ability to deliver effective results.
- Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS), authorized to conduct business.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automotive insurance.
- Sound judgment and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent service skills.
- Timely communication and response according to department standards.
- As needed, travel internationally between the United States and Mexico to meet business needs.
- English preferred; bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
