The Regional Reimbursement Manager is responsible for the execution of the reimbursement strategy with the goal of ensuring optimal access for specific products in partnership with our client. This role leads and manages a regional team of Virtual Reimbursement Managers, driving them toward client goals, meeting regional metrics, and ensuring compliance and fiscal responsibility. The manager participates in strategic meetings and leads team sessions.
EssentialJob Functions
- Hire, motivate, and coach a virtual reimbursement team to meet goals and objectives through influencing compliant behavior.
- Lead the virtual reimbursement team to ensure goals are met, supporting product access within targeted accounts.
- Work with Virtual Reimbursement Managers on a consistent basis, evaluating coaching and directing local business plans and presentations.
- Attract, coach, and retain high‑performing individuals.
- Develop plans that translate regional and national strategy effectively.
- Work with leadership to define and establish behaviors that lead to high levels of client satisfaction.
- BS/BA degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in reimbursement.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Experience working with a patient call center.
- Proven experience with payer access and coverage issues, including prior authorization processes and patient access support services across specialty and primary care.
- Understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans, especially within the assigned geographic area.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $155,000 to $165,000. Actual salary will vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions or bonuses based on company and/or individual performance.
