Supervisor Construction Services | South-Region Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Supervisor of Construction Services to lead contract administration, project oversight, and field inspection activities for transmission and distribution (T&D) projects across the state. In this key leadership role, you will manage and coordinate multidisciplinary support services—including design, construction, contractor safety, and field operations—ensuring seamless, cost-effective execution in alignment with business unit objectives.
The ideal candidate will also collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management to procure and administer major service contracts, maintain compliance, and optimize contractor performance. This position requires strong project management skills, a focus on team cohesion, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.
This supervisor will support the South-Region.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in project management, design, Transmission & Distribution portfolio management, or construction/maintenance.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of college coursework and experience in project management, design, or construction/maintenance totaling eight (8) years.
- Experience in an electric utility/transmission or distribution organization.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of budget development/process as well as expenditure tracking and monitoring.
- Working knowledge of contract management, CCB, Maximo, Powerplant and other computer software applications including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
This position may require access to and/or use of information subject to control under the Department of Energy's Part 810 Regulations (10 CFR Part 810), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) (15 CFR Parts 730 through 774), or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 CFR Chapter I, Subchapter M Part 120) (collectively, 'U.S. Export Control Laws').
