What will you be doing

The Manager works collaboratively within a team of qualified Advisory consultants to deliver performance improvement to healthcare systems. The role primarily involves performing billable work for clients, actively leading and managing a significant workstream or project. Responsibilities include determining client needs from the engagement statement of work, leading data analyses, interpreting results, developing recommendations and solutions, creating deliverables and presentations for various audiences, implementing recommended improvements, managing risks and issues with project leadership, and overseeing project economics and administrative activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility #1 – 60% Execute, direct, and oversee data analyses; conduct client interviews; develop conclusions, recommendations, and solutions; prepare verbal and graphic presentations; generate billings revenue; guide project management activities; manage budget and profitability; mentor staff; participate in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Responsibility #2 – 15% Participate in practice development activities for the Advisory Services Practice or its Service Lines.
  • Responsibility #3 – 10% Learn Premier-based technologies and services.
  • Responsibility #4 – 10% Identify market opportunities, contribute to sales presentation deliverables, and seek profitability improvement opportunities.
  • Responsibility #5 – 5% (Not specified – retained for completeness.)
Required Qualifications

Complete all required training requirements on an annual basis.

  • Years of Applicable

    Experience:

    5 or more years
  • Bachelors degree (Required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Coordinate and deliver effective presentations to client audiences.
  • Conduct analyses, oversee, and mentor others in production of deliverables.
  • Relate effectively to clients and team members.
  • Lead work groups to successful outcomes.
  • Experience in Health Systems Finance, Operations, Operational or Strategic Consulting, Strategic Planning, or Decision Support Analytics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Master’s Degree; RN license or other professional license; PMP/Lean Certification.
