Mechanical Operations Manager

This is a senior-level leadership opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical construction background, proven experience managing teams, and the ability to drive operational performance across projects, people, clients, and financial results.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading HVAC construction operations for a mechanical contractor and will be comfortable working closely with ownership, executive leadership, project teams, field leadership, and clients.

• Lead HVAC construction operations across the Phoenix market
• Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, field leadership, and support staff
• Manage project performance, manpower planning, scheduling, quality, safety, and profitability
• Support operational planning, forecasting, staffing, and resource allocation
• Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during project pursuit, handoff, and execution
• Review project financials, change management, labor performance, and overall job health
• Strengthen internal systems, accountability, communication, and team performance
• Develop and mentor project management and field operations personnel
• Maintain strong client relationships and support long-term business growth
• Work closely with ownership / senior leadership on business unit performance and strategic growth

• Experience in HVAC construction with a mechanical contractor
• Prior leadership experience as an Operations Manager, Division Manager, Department Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or similar role
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC construction, project execution, manpower planning, scheduling, change management, and financial performance
• Experience leading project teams, field teams, or operational staff
• Ability to manage P&L, budgets, forecasts, labor performance, and client relationships
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create accountability while maintaining a healthy team culture
• Commercial/Industrial mechanical construction experience strongly preferred
