Regional Director of Facilities Operations - West

We're partnering with a leading national facilities management provider to appoint a Regional Director of Operations to oversee a large, multi client portfolio across the Western region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded operations leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing operational excellence with customer growth. The role combines strategic leadership with hands on operational oversight and offers significant scope to influence business performance across a complex regional portfolio.

You’ll take ownership of a $multi million regional portfolio, supporting 30+ client accounts, 300+ locations, and approximately 450 employees across the region.

Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll lead an established regional management team while partnering closely with customers to deliver exceptional service, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for organic growth.

This is a highly visible leadership role, best suited to someone who enjoys being in the field, developing leaders, building strong customer relationships, and driving operational excellence across a geographically dispersed operation.

• Lead all operational activities across a large, multi site facilities management portfolio.
• Take full ownership of regional operational performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the regional operational P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of District Managers, Facilities Managers, Account Managers, and Supervisors.
• Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts and support organic business growth.
• Ensure consistent service delivery, quality standards, and operational excellence across all locations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic objectives and long-term regional growth.

We're looking for an experienced Regional Director, Senior Director, or VP level leader with a proven background in outsourced facilities management or a comparable multi-site operational environment.

• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed operations across multiple client accounts.
• Full P&L ownership within a multi-million-dollar portfolio.
• A proven track record of managing leaders and developing high-performing regional teams.
• Strong client relationship management and executive stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience improving operational performance while driving profitability.
• A commercial mindset with a track record of growing existing customer accounts through organic expansion.
• Experience across hard and soft facilities management services.
• A hands‑on leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people.

Experience with in aviation, industrial, manufacturing, government, or integrated facilities management environments would be advantageous, as would previous experience working for a third party facilities management provider.
