Produce Team Leader; Department Manager

Position: Produce Team Leader (Department Manager)
Whole Foods Market -  - Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership to the Produce team and manage daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance and special projects.;
Hire, develop, and supervise Team Members; conduct performance evaluations and corrective actions; promote positive morale and customer service.;
Achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets; maintain product assortment, merchandising, and inventory controls; collaborate with department leaders and vendors.;
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitors; ensure high standards of retail execution and customer satisfaction.;
Train and mentor Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover; ensure adherence to health and safety and Food Safety regulations.
