Job SummaryUnder general direction, responsible for development and implementation of entrepreneurship programs serving targeted populations across the Southwestern United States and Tribal communities. The role focuses on expanding resources and opportunities via Dream Builder and Dream Catcher programming, and supports related mobile labs, conference events, and additional initiatives. The position collaborates with Global Impact and the Freeport‑Mc Mo Ran staff to manage all aspects of program operations, ensuring high‑quality delivery, managing budget, time, resources, and risks, and providing strategic recommendations for future funding.
EssentialDuties
- Oversee implementation of Global Impact's commitments for Dream Builder and Dream Catcher entrepreneurship training programs for women entrepreneurs in targeted geographic communities.
- Manage funder relationships, partner organizations, reporting, payments, external vendors, and technology vendors to achieve program milestones.
- Develop strategies, implement programs, and conduct program evaluation to support strategic recommendations for future funding.
- Build relationships with key leaders, nonprofits, educational institutions, and other organizations within targeted communities to ensure delivery of entrepreneurship programming.
- Coordinate activities of faculty supporting educational content delivery and record keeping in accordance with Thunderbird and ASU policies.
- Ensure continuity and brand management across the broader portfolio of Dream Builder and Dream Catcher programs.
- Collect and analyze data for monitoring and evaluation requirements.
- Provide reporting and supporting materials to funders, partners, governmental agencies, and nonprofit partners, including annual and quarterly reports.
- Manage project budgets, payments, change orders, and adjust budgets as necessary.
- Develop and manage marketing and promotional materials, including collateral, external website, and social media, and support department‑level marketing needs.
- Hire, manage, and evaluate contractors and student workers.
- Represent Thunderbird, Global Impact, and associated programs at conferences and networking events.
- Travel frequently to cultivate relationships, work with program partners, and represent Global Impact at events.
- Work occasional nights and weekends as necessary to achieve program outcomes.
- Regular travel throughout the state is required.
- Support other Global Impact projects and department activities as needed.
- Experience working in Tribal communities and knowledge of the unique business environments within those contexts.
- Master's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
- Experience in entrepreneurial initiatives and/or entrepreneurship training.
- Experience in gender‑related work, development, or education.
- Proven record of managing project execution and delivering results.
- Professional experience providing creative solutions to complex problems.
- Office setting with extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and computer use.
- Requires standing for varying lengths of time and walking moderate distances.
- Use of office equipment including calculator, telephone, computer, printer, fax, and copier.
- General review of objectives performed.
- Regular travel throughout the state.

Flexible Work Options- Alternative work schedules include four 10‑hour workdays in a week; a nine‑day, 80‑hour schedule over two weeks for exempt employees only; staggered start and stop times.
- Hybrid work allows spending a minimum of 60% of the regular workweek at the primary ASU work location. Approval from Dean or Vice President required.
