I. Job Summary

Leads the Enterprise Logistics Training Team and is responsible for the execution, quality, and continuous improvement of logistics training programs across the organization. Oversees a team of Trainers, ensuring consistent delivery of curriculum, coaching methodologies, training standards, and participant evaluations. Partners with Logistics Leadership to develop talent strategies, enhance training effectiveness, and support organizational initiatives that drive operational excellence. The Logistics Training Manager provides leadership for logistics onboarding, leadership development, continuing education programs, and training operations while ensuring training outcomes align with organizational goals, workforce readiness, and performance expectations.

This role serves as the primary liaison between Training, Business Optimization, and Logistics Leadership teams to identify capability gaps and develop scalable learning solutions. This role expands upon responsibilities performed by Trainer I, including curriculum delivery, participant evaluation, coaching, and onboarding support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directly supervises and develops a team of Logistics Trainers.

  • Establishes performance expectations, coaching plans, and development opportunities for assigned trainers.

  • Conducts performance evaluations, career development discussions, and succession planning activities.

  • Establishes governance structures, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks to monitor operational effectiveness and value realization.

  • Promotes a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and learning excellence.

  • Oversees enterprise-wide logistics onboarding, leadership development, and continuing education programs.

  • Monitors training effectiveness through participant performance, operational outcomes, and stakeholder feedback.

  • Partners with logistics leadership to define future-state organizational structures and support models.

  • Supports organizational change initiatives by developing and deploying training and communication plans.

  • Identifies opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and data analytics to improve training outcomes and scalability.

III. Qualifications

A.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience

  • 6 years of relevant dispatch, logistics or collections experience (in addition to education requirement). and

  • 5 years of supervisory or management experience (in addition to education requirement).

Combination:
This job operates in a mix between an office environment and plant/field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.

PAY:
The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $119,460 - $158,290. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
