Supervisor, Materials Management

Description The Supervisor, Supply Chain/Materials Management is responsible for managing all aspects of supply chain operations for the Brooks’ system of care. The successful individual will implement appropriate supply chain strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, execute on best practices and key performance indicators, and assist in effectively manage costs. This position reports to the Manager, Supply Chain Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Supervises all aspects of supply chain operations including sourcing, receiving, stocking, periodic automatic replenishment, inventory control, etc.

Understands and supports the financial goals of the organization

Supervises and manages staff and ensures appropriate staff coverage to provide continuity of operations

Analyzes work flow processes and functional departmental systems design, making recommendations for improvement and executing necessary changes

Assists in the management of disaster supplies and processes, ensuring facilities are prepared

Supports the standardization of products and optimizes supply utilization through effective collaboration with key stakeholders

Provides performance guidance, mentoring, and development of staff; ensures achievement of employee goals and metrics

Demonstrates ability to perform all facets of the job effectively and efficiently

Job Qualifications:

Associates Degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare supply chain required.

Experience with point of use technology and Oracle SCM preferred.

Experience with MS Office applications required. One year of people management experience preferred.
