Oversee the operational performance of Youth Care Workers in the Operations Center of an on-site children's residential facility
- Act as liaison with other leads and on-site vendors
- Ensure Youth Care Workers follow contract policies and provide line-of-sight supervision of minors
- Support assigned departments such as Clothing, Inventory, Laundry, Valuables, and Phone Call
- Ensure contractual requirements and client expectations are met
- Directly supervise youth case workers and ensure continuous line-of-sight supervision
- Complete supervisory logs and required department documentation, including daily reports
- Ensure shelter care and supervision of unaccompanied minors are appropriately organized
- Support the Lead through formal or informal supervision and provide ongoing staff feedback
- Assist with children's transitions between activities and physical locations
- Communicate frequently with the shift supervisor
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and required training programs
- Provide staff coverage when needed
- Adhere to Urban Strategies, contract agency, state, and other regulations
- Provide security monitoring and maintain surveillance systems
- Ensure surveillance recordings contain correct dates and times
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor
- Follow corporate safety policies, support safety meetings and training, ensure safe operating conditions, and maintain a clean, orderly work area
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3 years of experience working with youths or in a similar environment

- Bilingual (English-Spanish)
- Driver's License
- Flexible schedule

- Visual acuity to complete paperwork, computer work, and direct line-of-sight supervision of staff
- Ability to communicate verbally and listen for constant surveillance of staff activities
- Ability to withstand changing weather conditions including rain, lightning, extreme heat, and winds
- Ability to navigate construction areas, sports fields, and similar environments
- Ability to stand for sustained periods
- Satisfactory results of all required tests and background checks
Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational skills in supervising Youth Care Workers while ensuring compliance with contractual and safety regulations. Proficient in communication and conflict management, with the ability to support youth transitions and maintain a safe environment.
