Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler I, you will learn and perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on a wide variety of state-of-the-art electronics.

• Learn and become proficient in installing, assembling, and inspecting electronics per work instructions, job routers, and schematic drawings. Interpret job routers, written instructions, and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
• Perform a variety of inspections with a focus on ensuring assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.
• Perform pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
• Use hand and/or power tools, and assembly palettes.
• Apply material according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
• Operate production equipment such as conformal coat, plasma washer, oven, etc.
• Perform all tasks in the mechanical assembly operation: wash, bake, underfill, masking, curing, demasking, cleaning/touch up, and enhanced mechanical.
• Apply underfill and masking material according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Typically requires 0-1 years of electronics assembly and/or inspection experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet production and customer needs.
• Must be able to lift and manipulate up to 25lbs for an extended period.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.

• Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-STD-001.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures.
• Desire to work overtime.

Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position per location varies by office and program. Ranges may include:

• $34,200.00 - $68,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
• $38,300.00 - $76,600.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
• $40,400.00 - $80,700.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ
