Aerospace Mechanical Assembler
Join our team as an Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly of engine cowlings and sheet metal components. You will work in an aerospace environment, supporting major clients such as Honeywell, Bombardier, Gulfstream, and Cessna. This position involves reading blueprints and SOPs, using power tools and hand tools, and performing electric bond checks.
Responsibilities- Assemble engine cowlings and sheet metal components using blueprints and SOPs.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, drills, and torque to assemble parts.
- Perform electric bond checks and basic quality verification practices.
- Understand and apply Honeywell specifications where applicable.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- 2-3 years of assembly experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with large parts and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace or similar industries preferred.
- Experience with commercial or military aircraft engines is a plus.
- Understanding of Honeywell specs is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles.

Work EnvironmentWork in a team-oriented aerospace manufacturing environment located on-site at Honeywell near Sky Harbor Airport. Enjoy a tight-knit, team-cultured environment that follows Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement principles. Available shifts include 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30PM) and 2nd shift (Monday - Friday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM), with training provided during the day shift.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
