A Maintenance Technician is a highly skilled and self‑sufficient professional capable of maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment. Inteplast Building Products produces extruded plastic moldings used for commercial and residential applications.

• This position requires availability for both daytime training and permanent overnight shifts.
• Training Schedule (3–6 months)
• Monday through Friday
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Day Shift)
• Post‑Training Schedule (Permanent Assignment)
• 12‑hour shift rotation 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

• Extensive experience in machine repair, with thorough knowledge of and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Strong mechanical and communications skills and general knowledge of plant maintenance.
• Consistent, dependable attendance and willingness to accommodate non‑standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job‑related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

• Assist in identifying spare parts required for equipment repair and complete requisitions accurately to ensure timely procurement.
• Become an owner of one group of equipment, taking full responsibility for maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and rebuilds on that particular machine class.
• Complete all required training classes for the forklift and electric pallet jack certification.
• Attend annual training and practice of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Maintenance Technicians may be needed for weekend or evening "callouts."
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in an environment that is cold in wintertime, hot, or humid in the summer months.

• Basic working knowledge of power hand tools such as drills, saws, and cutting tools.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills prior to hiring.

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel‑toed shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses).
• Ability to quickly move your hands together with your arms or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects (frequently).
• Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs. (frequently).
• Ability to stand and change positions frequently over an eight‑hour period.
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body, arms, or legs (frequently).
• Ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly or continuously to lift objects up to 50 lbs. (frequently).
• Ability to see (in low light), hear spoken words, and verbally communicate.
• Ability to stand, walk, and change positions frequently over an eight‑hour period. The position requires walking up to 8 hours per work shift.
• Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects. (Lifting requirements up to and including 30 lb.) (frequently)
• Must be able to reach and lift above shoulders (frequently).

• Vision to read and clearly observe.
