We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Buyer to join our Manufacturing team. This role will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our production lines are always running at full capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials and components necessary for our manufacturing processes. This role requires a high level of analytical thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the manufacturing industry and experience in navigating ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory management, and purchase management.
- Solid understanding of ITAR, NADCAP, and AS9100 regulations.
- Proven track record in cost analysis and negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to predict and navigate potential risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
