Set machine positioning for part production.;
Assemble, measure, and load tooling for subsequent operations into the tool-changers.;
Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control parameters as required.;
Use micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other precision measuring devices to confirm part geometry meets tolerance specifications.;
Confer with production operators, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
