POSITION

PURPOSE:

This role accelerates business value by being responsible for the overall quality and output of each refurbished merchandiser within refurb
centers in plants, remote locations or separate warehouse area of an existing plant.

• Conducting quality refurbishing under the supervisors lead.
• Conform to all company, federal state, and local guidelines for quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Maintain and control and safeguard the inventory of all merchandiser refurbishment parts and supplies as well as the merchandisers themselves.
• Work continuously to improve the refurbishment centers operations, utilization, and cost control.
• Ensure standardized work processes are followed.
• Conduct quality checks.
• May assist plant merchandiser techs for service calls or preventive maintenance calls.
• May assist the plant for service calls, maintenance, and box deliveries/pick ups.
• May assist with loading and unloading boxes received and shipped out of the refurb centers as well as parts shipments coming in.
• Coordinate with lead supervisor when new parts are received and signed for. Ensure the completed paperwork is completed.
• Coordinate when boxes are received or shipped out with the lead supervisor and ensure the proper transfer paperwork is given to the lead Supervisor.
• Responsible for wearing appropriate eye and hand protection when required.
• Perform miscellaneous job duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the refurbishment center itself as well as all tools, inventories, and any and all equipment and grounds surrounding the center.

High School Degree or GED required Trade School certificate preferred but not required Minimum 1 year experience in the refrigeration field preferred but not required EPA certification preferred but not required

This position mainly works at the plant repair shop. Exposure to hazards from electrical and mechanical equipment; possible use of paint. Some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling required;
Units on top of box weigh approximately 150 lbs.; must be able to move merchandisers with proper equipment (700 – 800 lbs). Good manual dexterity required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
