Description
The Mechanical Assembler operates and maintains production stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, and units in accordance with HVAC and chiller specifications. This role follows established manufacturing procedures to ensure precise assembly, consistent quality, and reliable system performance
TravelThis hire will be required to travel to Montreal, Canada for approximately 4 weeks of training paid for by the company.
What You ll Do- Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
- Willingness to learn brazing techniques required to weld the joints of copper mechanical parts.
- Other duties as required.
- 3+ years mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude a must.
- Previous brazing/welding experience is an asset.

- Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance.
- Perform repetitive movements including bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and twisting.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8–12 hours per shift.
- Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps as needed.
- Reach above shoulder level and work at varying heights.
- Use hands and arms to grasp, handle, manipulate, and operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions along with push, pull, grab, pinch and lift arms above the head.
- Maintain balance and coordination while working on uneven surfaces.
- Work in confined or restricted spaces when required.
- Tolerate exposure to varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, dust, noise, and outdoor weather conditions.
- Maintain sufficient visual acuity to identify hazards, read in English or Spanish labels, and operate equipment safely.
- Maintain sufficient hearing ability to receive verbal instructions and respond to safety warnings.
- Perform physically demanding tasks for sustained periods consistent with assigned duties.
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $56160.00/yr.
