Cage Machine Operator in Phoenix

Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for safely operating KN / MBK cagemachines andequipmentin theproductionprocess.

• Operate control station and header cart
• Ensure machine is clean and is in good working order
• Ensure quality of materials used in production (concrete, wire reinforcement)
• Inspect wire cages / reinforcements
• Supply machine with necessary components to make product
• Meet production schedule numbers
• Produce quality product
• Be able to perform basic trouble shooting on production and concrete batching machinery
• Operate a forklift and or crane to supply machine
• Experience in machine operations, welding, maintenance, or Quality control
• This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure

• 1+ year(s) industry experience with KN / MBK cage operating
• English proficiency. Spanish is a plus
• Computer knowledge/skills

• Quick thinker / flexible / problem solver
• Excellent time management skills
• Work with coworkers and supervisors in meeting production goals
• Welding experience
• Maintenance experience

• Exposed tohigh levelsof concrete dust.
• Work outdoors but may on occasion work indoors. Temperatures may vary due to weather.
• Regularly wear protective attire, such as hard hats and steel-toe boots.
• Exposedto sound and noise levels that are distracting and uncomfortable.
• Work in extremely bright or very dim lighting conditions.

• Mon –Fri (weekends when needed)
