Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (OTF) Shift Group Leader (GL)

Responsible for leading a compressed shift schedule, directly reporting to module team leaders and department managers. Oversees the performance, development, and employee relations of technicians on shifts.

• Together with team members, create and execute a roadmap to meet safety, quality, availability, velocity, affordability, and training goals.
• Provide leadership for IMT, Production, or TMI activities as required.
• Model and set the cultural standard, ensuring an inclusive work environment.
• Set priorities, drive cross‑boundary results, and manage employee performance.
• Supervise product teams or staff within a manufacturing area, assess personnel and material levels to determine production schedules.
• Assign personnel and monitor the flow of work through the facility.
• Establish operating policies and procedures and coordinate multiple functions to ensure production schedules are met with quality and cost objectives.
• Ensure overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment.
• Plan and schedule daily tasks, using judgment to address problems requiring deviation from standard practices.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication industry.
• Preferred: experience interacting with vendor field service engineering, manufacturing technicians on toolsets.
• Previous people management and/or leadership experience.
• Technical expertise in semiconductor process engineering with ability to provide technical direction on quality issues.
• Data analysis skills and understanding of basic statistics.

• Shift4 – Night front half of week – PM–AM Sun‑Tues, alternating Saturday nights.
• Shift5 – Days front half of week – AM–PM Sun‑Tues, alternating Wednesday days.
• Shift6 – Night back half of week – PM–AM Wed‑Sat, alternating Saturday night.
• Shift7 – Days back half of week – AM–PM Thurs‑Sat, alternating Wednesday days.
