Production Associate - 1st Shift M-F

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated production associate to join our lamination team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling probes for our ultrasound business. They will join a dynamic team that is instrumental in producing our ultrasound probes at our Phoenix site that benefit patients globally. Responsibilities may include manufacturing and assembly of products. This role supports the Lamination team, which pays $1.50 extra an hour.

• Follows work procedures and schematics including complex instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Performs manufacturing and assembly operations and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
• Maintains daily production output.
• Identifies and reports defects.
• Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures.
• Participates in quality control inspections when required.
• Assists with the implementation of process improvements to increase quality and productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in quality activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
• Complies with EHS regulations and policies.

• Compliant with gowning procedures in a controlled environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent.
• Ability to communicate, receive, and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Demonstrated ability to pay attention to details and exhibit quality‑minded work habits.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with co‑workers and leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work at multiple workstations, multitask, be flexible in shifting tasks, and be cross‑trained.
• US citizens or permanent residents required.

• Minimum six months of related manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to handle small and delicate parts.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a microscope.
• Previous experience in a controlled environment.

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds (if over 35 pounds assistance required).
