Maintenance Technician 2 - 1st Shift, Plant 4 Electro-Mechanical Technician II

  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Flexibility required for off‑hours work as needed
  • Occasional overtime

Pre‑employment drug test and background check are required

Compensation
  • Hourly rate based on experience, role level, and applicable shift differential that aligns with your expertise and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on printing and finishing equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Maintain auxiliary equipment and facility systems
  • Support general building maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operations
  • Partner with production teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend and follow both written and oral English communication.
  • Possess excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experienced in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Must be familiar with AC and DC circuits, low voltage through 480v three‑phase power.
  • Office software and computer navigation skills.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Effective team collaboration and communication
  • Ability to use hands for 100% of work time (e.g. wrenches, screw drivers, drills, etc.); and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 75% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 25% of work time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds or less 30% of work time, up to 50 pounds or less 15% of work time and up to 75 pounds or less 15% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less, or 20 feet or more and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
Experience Requirements
  • 8+ years electro‑mechanical experience,
    or
  • 4+ year’s experience along with an associate degree in electro‑mechanical technology (or similar)
