Production Worker - Weekend Shift

Full Time. Friday‑Sunday 6am‑6pm. Phoenix, AZ.

APEL Extrusions is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions serving the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States. With locations in Calgary, Canada, Coburg, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona.

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6am‑6pm (must be able to work all three days)
• If you work all three days (36 hours), you will be paid for 40 hours.

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system.
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate measuring devices.
• Operate a forklift.

• High degree of independence and accountability. Good attendance is required.
• Detail‑oriented, able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Able to perform simple calculations independently.
• Communicate well and interact with others effectively.
• Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience required.

• Exposed to a production environment with noise, moving machinery, forklifts, and temperature fluctuations.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion; ability to lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.
