Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to ensure production in our Molding Department. This role requires knowledge of maintenance and repair of industrial‑size injection molding equipment, a strong safety mindset, and commitment to quality and attendance. Responsibilities- Perform adjustments to injection molding machines to optimize cycle time and produce high‑quality parts
- Change mold inserts and assist with size, color, and material changes
- Diagnose mechanical issues and develop corrective action plans
- Track scrap and ensure accurate accounting
- Schedule and oversee machine repairs promptly
- Monitor machinery and environment for unsafe practices and conditions
- Maintain compliance with GMP/HACCP procedures and PPE requirements
- Record production data accurately
- Collaborate with Quality Control to maximize quality and minimize downtime
- Meet departmental goals of efficiency, MEEF, and scrap reduction
- Other duties as assigned
- 2-3 years of injection molding process technician experience preferred
- Mechanically and electrically inclined
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and able to make decisions with minimal supervision
- Basic equipment maintenance tools proficiency
- Hands‑on approach during process interruptions
- Experience with BNB and Husky injection molding machines a plus
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education, or 6‑12 months of related experience
Job Type: Full‑time
12‑Hour Night
Shift: 6:50 PM to 7:00 AM
Pay range: $24.00‑$30.00 plus $2.00 / hr night shift differential
