As a Mechanical Assembler for the Weekend Shift, you will serve as the key driver of continuous improvement in operations and the assembly process. You will receive on‑the‑job training (OJT) and work in explosive‑handling areas under direct supervision.
Responsibilities- Weigh and press inert and energetic materials.
- Set up and use an analytical balance.
- Perform inert assembly operations.
- Conduct minor cabling, potting, tinning, and assembly work.
- Set up and use a powder press for pressing operations.
- Provide basic support for setting up specific equipment.
- M may have some basic soldering experience.
- Operate various production assembly operations on components and sub‑assemblies.
- Use visual aids, drawings, and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re‑work, or re‑assemble units.
- Install sub‑assemblies.
- Display proficient dexterity to ensure safe handling of explosive devices.
- Attend off‑site training classes when required to maintain certification (e.g., JSTD).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work under direct supervision.
- Strong English communication skills: read, write, speak.
- Minimum one to two years of industry assembly work.
- Soldering or welding experience is a plus.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5AM – 5:30PM;
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs;
Work performed in explosive‑handling areas.
Eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range$15.70 – $29.00 per hour (local currency).
ITAR RequirementsOnly U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals) are eligible. Candidates must cooperate in securing U.S. government export authorizations; ongoing employment depends on obtaining these authorizations.
