Yard Associate

Job Summary

Porter / Yard Worker – responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, inspecting equipment before and after rental, and ensuring all equipment meets specifications.

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost and/or damaged items.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

• Effective communication with customers (written and oral).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety‑focused mindset.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors or outdoors as required.

Base Pay Range: $17.75 – $23.72. Starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and/or experience.
