Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to ensure production in our Molding Department. This excellent Process Technician is knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of industrial size injection molding equipment. Perform adjustments to injection molding machines to optimize the cycle and make good quality parts
Perform mold insert changes
Assist with size, color and material changes
Performs at I/P, Process Tech and Mold Tech level
Trouble shoot Mechanical issues and determine an appropriate action plan.
Monitor and ensure scrap is being accounted for accurately.
Ensure injection molding machines are being repaired properly and promptly.
Monitor machinery and environment for unsafe practices or unsafe conditions.
Ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP procedures.
Ensure in compliance with PPE Requirement.
Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Recording Production Data Accurately.
Monitor and ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor and Minimize scrap levels.
Monitor and maximize Production flow.
Work with Quality Control to maximize quality and minimize downtime.
Effectively meet Departmental goals of EFF, MEEF, & Scrap

Effective written and oral communication skills
Must be mechanically and electrically inclined.
Must always be safety and quality conscience.
2-3 years of injection molding process technician experience preferred
Ability to work under limited supervision
Must have basic equipment maintenance tools
Must be responsible, self- motivated and team oriented. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.
Must have a willingness to take a "hands on" approach during times of process interruption.
Experience with BNB and Husky inject molding machines a plus.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.

Job Type: Full-time
12-Hour Night
Shift: 6:50PM to 7:00AM (2, 2, 3, 2 schedule)
Pay range: $24.00-$30.00 plus $2.00/Hr night shift differential
