Maintenance Manager - Plastics

Growing plastics company with multiple manufacturing locations has an outstanding opportunity available in Phoenix, AZ area for a Maintenance Manager.

• High School Diploma or GED and 3 to 7 years of related experience
• 5 direct reports
• Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, thermoplastics, polyolefins, thermoforming or polymers is preferred

• Resource Management (People & Equipment) – ability to obtain and appropriately use equipment, facilities, materials, and personnel

• Problem Solving – ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems

• Support and follow safety rules and regulations
• Supervise Maintenance Department functions to support manufacturing of plastic products
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and be willing to work outside the regular schedule as required
• Handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace
• Troubleshoot equipment issues
• Develop training manuals for the maintenance department
• Implement improvement projects to minimize equipment downtime and improve machine efficiency
• Be available for call-ins during nights and weekends as equipment issues arise
• Analyze downtime, reports and monthly performance reports
• Manage spare stock purchasing and store stock application
