Job Description
CNC LATHE MACHINIST NEEDED
McFarland Machine & Engineering is looking for a CNC lathe machinist to work in a fast‑paced CNC machine shop. The role is available immediately and offers competitive benefits, including holiday pay, health insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
Shift: First shift, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.
Qualifications- 3+ years’ experience on CNC lathe machines
- Proficient with measuring tools – calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc.
- Experience reading blueprints and following traveler/router instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with multi‑axis lathes (necessary)
- Preferred experience in a job‑shop environment
- Ability to set up, debug jobs, and edit G&M code as needed
- Mastercam programming a plus

- Hitachi Seiki
- Puma Daewoo
- Nakamura Tome
