Robotics Welding Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday
- Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; 2nd Shift Monday
- Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM; 3rd Shift Monday
- Thursday 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM.

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.

Qualifications
  • 3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent education and experience
  • 2 years of MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably with sheet metal or structural fabrication
  • 6 months to 1 year of robotic programming or robotic welding system experience
  • Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, weld symbols, and manufacturing documentation
  • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with robotic platforms such as ABB, FANUC, Motoman, or similar systems preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Program, operate, and support robotic welding systems and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Create and modify robotic programs using software such as ABB Robot Studio or similar platforms
  • Troubleshoot robotic, mechanical, and production issues to minimize downtime
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on sheet metal and structural components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, work instructions, and technical drawings
  • Conduct weld inspections and verify products meet engineering and quality specifications
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation
  • Train and support technicians on robotic cell operations and best practices
  • Perform process audits and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and quality inspection equipment
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and quality‑focused work environment
