UCT is looking for a talented Expeditor III to join us in Phoenix, AZ
.
The Expeditor III ensures timely delivery of materials and jobs to meet production schedules by coordinating with internal teams and monitoring workflow progress. This role identifies and resolves delays, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and supports production continuity through detailed analysis of schedules, specifications, and work‑in‑progress. It contributes to operational efficiency by reporting issues, interpreting technical drawings, and collaborating with senior management to drive results in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Work with internal customers to coordinate and drive deliveries to meet the production schedule.
- Have a strong understanding of production schedules and the production process/sequence.
- Identify when delays to the delivery schedule or production impacts occur and communicate needs to action owners.
- Arrange disposition of jobs to meet production schedules.
- Compile and review production schedules, reports, and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP.
- Demonstrate understanding to the customer through words and drawings.
- Work with senior management to create and compile day‑to‑day job‑specific information using detailed drawings, customer‑supplied specifications, and customer interaction.
- Report any issues with equipment, tooling, resources, or anything that can affect production flow.
- Work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Possess experience in product organization, integration, and control regarding production delivery schedules.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2‑3 years of related experience, preferably in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- At least a year of purchasing or planning experience.

- Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to climb and stoop
- Ability to stand for sustained periods
- Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance
- Have the visual acuity to perform the given task
- Ability to sit for sustained periods
- Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required
- Subject to frequent interruptions
- Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable
- Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals
- Subject to various noise levels from manufacturing and office equipment
