Machine Production
Machine production parts and rework out of spec supplier parts to print dimensions using appropriate machining equipment, tools, and processes. Depending on experience, may also build fixtures for assembly and prototypes for engineering.
Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:
- Read, understand, and communicate blueprint detail
- Proficient use of precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers and tools
- Set up programs, operate, and maintain machining equipment including CNC, manual mills, saws, presses, drills and other equipment. Design and craft fixtures to improve volume and productivity where appropriate
- Other duties may be assigned.

QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; and minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Computer Skills
- Will be required to interact with manufacturing software throughout the day for the job schedule and work order execution
Language & Communications Ability
- For business and safety reasons, ability to write reports and business correspondence in English
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional resources (Production Supervisors, Quality, Engineering, etc.)
Other Skills
- Ability to use all varieties of hand and machine tools
