Position: Shipping- 2nd Shitf- 3pm-11:30pm
Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in preparing and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.

Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.

Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.

Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.

Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient shipping processes.

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.

Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.

Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent.
0-1 year of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

May be required to frequently lift to 50 lbs. Depending on the job.

Hand dexterity and strength.

Prolonged sitting and terminal use.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Primarily operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.

Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Full-time position with standard working hours; occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.

Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.
