AIRO is developing the next generation of advanced General Aviation Avionics systems that will bring new levels of functionality, usability, integration, and value to existing and new aircraft for a broad spectrum of general aviation aircraft. Position OverviewProduction Technician assembles electronic components utilizing assembly documents while following company specifications and quality control processes. Ensures timely completion of work with consistency, accuracy, and the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Complete required assembly activities for assigned orders while maintaining product quality and safe work practices.
- Assemble parts using assembly documents and various hand tools.
- Document tasks with an understanding of the quality control process.
- Meet and maintain daily production rates and goals as established by the company.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or material to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
- Observe safety and security procedures.
- Perform other activities as needed and requested.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable working with various power hand tools.
- Strong work ethic.
- Adherence to all safety, security, and company policies.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record; willing to work scheduled and adjusted times, including overtime as needed.
- Detail‑oriented and results focused.
- Proficient with Windows PC and Microsoft Office.
High School Diploma or GED.
Physical and Mental Requirements- Standing and sitting for extended periods.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds safely.
- Work and communicate well with colleagues, management, customers, visitors, and vendors.
- Perform work requiring manual dexterity of the hands.
- Push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach both above and below shoulders; full use of upper extremities.
- Move easily through an approximately 25,000‑square‑foot warehouse building.
- Read, write, and understand English.
