General Labor, Sorter – Entry Level

We’re hiring General Laborers / Sorters to sort recyclables at a large recycling and processing plant in Phoenix, AZ (27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009).

Sorting recyclables is a necessary job that helps keep our community clean.

As a full‑time General Laborer / Sorter, you will:

• Sort recyclables efficiently and accurately.
• Follow safety and operational procedures.
• Work as part of a team and adhere to shift schedules.

• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.
• Consent to background check (Leadpoint is a second‑chance employer).
• Consent to drug screen.
• Reliable transportation; carpooling and ride sharing encouraged.
• Previous warehouse, general labor or sorting experience is a plus.

1st & 2nd shift available.

Hours:

Full time. Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour.

• Health, dental and vision insurance options after 90 days.
• Company‑provided PPE, safety vests, hard hats, glasses, gloves and arm shields.
• Employee lunchroom with refrigerator and microwave.
• Sick time begins accruing after 90 days.
• Weekly pay.

This is a safety‑sensitive position. THC impairment while working presents a substantial risk of injury, so the company will test for THC.
