Knowledge of IQ batch furnace required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with heat treating processes and equipment, proficiency in Excel and Word, the ability to supervise employees, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Job Summary

The Heat Treat Supervisor is responsible for overseeing heat treating operations, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

• Operate and oversee heat treating equipment to harden and temper steel parts
• Ensure compliance with established procedures to maintain product quality
• Monitor operations, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and adjust lineups as needed
• Supervise, train, and support team members, including newer employees
• Conduct testing and inspections to ensure parts meet specifications

Pay

• $30+/hour DOE

Schedule

• 2nd or 3rd shift

Experience & Skills Required

• Experience with IQ batch furnaces
• Knowledge of heat treating processes and equipment
• Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
