Cabinet Assembler

Looking to build your career and design your future? The Cabinet Assembler will design and construct cabinets in accordance with specifications, drawings, and blueprints.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cabinet dimensions and required materials.
• Select appropriate materials such as wood, laminates, and hardware, and use hand and power tools to assemble cabinet components.
• Apply adhesives, screws, nails, and other fasteners to ensure precise alignment and fit.
• Install hardware, including hinges, handles, and drawer slides, following design specifications.
• Inspect finished cabinets for quality and accuracy, and make necessary adjustments and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a cabinet assembler or in a similar woodworking or carpentry role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinet components.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production schedules.
