The Part-Time Flex Production Packer / Operator plays an essential role in assembling and packing our products, ensuring that every pail and lid meets our quality standards and is ready to exceed customer expectations.

Production Packers are responsible for assembling and packing pails or lids, including correctly installing handles or triggers in a timely manner. Attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential to meet our customers’ standards. This role requires flexibility, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to follow both written and verbal instructions.

This part-time flex role allows employees to create their own schedule by selecting available 4-hour shift blocks, Monday through Friday, across a 24-hour production schedule. Employees may work up to 30 hours per week, based on their availability and production needs.

Available Schedule Blocks Include

• 6:00 AM–10:00 AM
• 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM–6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM–10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM–2:00 AM
• 2:00 AM–6:00 AM

Candidates will be asked to provide their availability as part of the application screening process. Final schedules will be based on employee availability and production needs.

• Base Pay Progression — Performance-Based
  • $17.50/hr – Hire Date
  • $17.88/hr – 90 Days
  • $18.27/hr – 1 Year
  • $18.65/hr – 2 Years
  • $19.04/hr – 3 Years
• Shift Differential
  • 2nd Shift — +$0.75/hr
  • 3rd Shift — +$1.00/hr

• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Install triggers, gaskets, tampers, vent plugs, metal/plastic spouts, and metal/plastic handles manually or with installer devices.
• Apply silicone to lids using a brush when required.
• Identify and report any product that does not meet quality standards before packing.
• Use a tape gun as needed to assemble boxes for lids.
• Operate the Child Warning Stamper to apply labels to pails.
• Accurately complete all required production and reject paperwork for your shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to lift and handle a maximum of 20 pounds repetitively/occasionally.
• Good hand-eye coordination required.
• Must be detail-oriented and organized.
• Must be able to perform work from a standing position.

All work is performed in a manufacturing environment that may be hot or cold and requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times, such as safety glasses and other protection as needed.
