The Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a fast‑paced manufacturing site, which may include multiple shifts and multiple plants or machines. The role oversees overall site performance, establishes and maintains business objectives, ensures compliance with environmental responsibilities, grows and develops the business, and leads a competent and engaged team. The manager drives safety, quality, efficiency, predictive maintenance, and bottom‑line results.

• On site at our manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ.

• Ensure excellence through the five plant fundamentals of safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity, and quality.
• Meet expected financial goals through the management of controllable expenses.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to foster a culture of excellence across all functions and personnel roles.
• Leverage best practices across sites, sharing new insights and learning from other locations.
• Explore equipment and processes that expand the capability and efficiency of the manufacturing operation.
• Ensure BOMs are correct and products are manufactured within BOM cost and quality commitments.
• Manage yard organization, product rotation, and the removal of obsolete or excessive inventory.
• Collaborate with the EH&S Manager to ensure compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations.
• Spend at least 60% of time on the floor, interacting with plant teams and leadership.
• Follow internal control guidelines at the site.
• Plan and execute capital project requests.
• Use key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Daily Production Reports, BI dashboards, and operational boards to measure progress.
• Implement all operational initiatives at the site.
• Hold oneself and employees accountable for implementing best practices and doing what is right for the business.
• Recruit, develop, and mentor a strong site staff to ensure efficient day‑to‑day operations.
• Direct and monitor the work of direct reports in accordance with business plans and goals.
• Direct the development of training programs to promote employee engagement.
• Use standardized skills matrices and customized job interviews to ensure consistent hiring aligned with required skill sets.
• Produce top‑quality products that meet delivery expectations.
• Develop technical knowledge of the processes on site.

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience managing automated, high‑speed manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to review and discuss production reports and financial statements.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.
