Starting Rate of pay: $21.15/hour
Shifts Available and
Hours:
12-hour Continental Night shift 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Maintain and stage material with proper paperwork.
- Check billet/logs availability for daily schedule and due dates.
- Verify proper & selection of billets/logs for each order.
- Ensure that racks, skids and baskets are ready for operators.
- Check and maintain ovens, load and unload ovens, make hourly checks.
- Read and understand work instructions for extrusion presses and age ovens.
- Empty scrap and chip hoppers as needed.
- Comply with company safety and housekeeping specifications.
- Responsible for minor maintenance on forklift, check fluid levels and general condition.
- Complete 'Lift truck operator's daily inspection report.'
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
- Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to the specific position.
- Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to the specific position.
- Must have good driving skills.
