Hours:
12-hour Continental Night shift 6:00 PM – 6:00AM What you will be doing
- Maintain and stages material with proper paperwork.
- Check billet/logs availability for daily schedule for due dates.
- Verifies proper & selection of billets/logs for each order.
- Ensure that racks, skids and baskets are ready for operators.
- Checks and maintains ovens, loads and unloads ovens, makes hourly checks.
- Has read and understands work instructions for extrusion presses and age ovens.
- Empties scrap and chip hoppers as needed.
- Complies with company safety and housekeeping specifications.
- Responsible for minor maintenance on forklift, checks fluid levels and general condition.
- Completes “Lift truck operator’s daily inspection report.”
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
- Must read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to their specific position.
- Must be able to use and maintain all basic tools and measuring equipmentpertinent to their specific position.
- Must have good driving skills.
