Service Wire Company, a premier supplier of industrial and utility wire and cable, is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler/High Reach Operator in Phoenix, AZ.

Position SummaryThe Material Handler/High Reach Operator is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by efficiently receiving, transporting, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role ensures accurate inventory management, safe material handling, and the timely preparation of orders for shipment. Operating forklifts—including high reach trucks—is essential, along with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities- Receive and unload materials
- Palletize and prepare orders for shipment on occasion
- Maintain inventory stock and an organized warehouse
- Transport wire and materials throughout the facility on a forklift
- Maintain safety standards and an organized work environment
- Forklift operation proficiency, high reach preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions
- Ability to stand and move about the facility for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Assistance provided as needed.
- High school diploma/GED or one year related industrial experience or equivalent training
- Personal protective equipment is required
- Continuous participation in company safety training
- Company forklift operation and certification
- Work environment is comparable to outdoor temperatures
- Regularly stands, bends, and reaches for extended periods
- Regularly moves about the facility
- Regularly lifts and moves materials up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally required to move up to 100 pounds by pushing, pulling, or sliding material. Assistance provided as needed.
- Visual inspection of material quality required
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments without climate-control
- In-person attendance is an essential function of the job
- Must be available to work 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
