CNC Operator Job Phoenix area,Arizona USA,Manufacturing / Production

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality fasteners
Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; sharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related problems
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Work Environment:

Primary work environment is the production floor
Secondary work environment is the office
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout the entire shift
Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns
Employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time; occasional stooping and walking will be required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience operating CNC machines
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
