The Production Control Agent is responsible for supporting Sky Café production operations by printing, organizing, and maintaining accurate production diagrams, food labels, and related documentation needed by the production team. This position helps ensure the correct and most current information is available for aircraft galley setup, cart and bin placement, substitutions, and daily operational changes. The Production Control Agent works closely with production leadership and must be able to monitor updates, identify changes, and stay ahead of production needs in a fast-paced airline catering environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Print original aircraft galley diagrams, production diagrams, and related documentation for assigned production banks.
- Access multiple software programs to retrieve correct dates, diagram information, production details, and operational updates.
- Review diagram information to ensure the correct documents are printed for the appropriate bank, date, flight, or production need.
- Monitor production changes throughout the shift and print updated or replacement diagrams as needed.
- Reprint diagrams when original copies are damaged, misplaced, outdated, or impacted by operational changes.
- Print food labels for the production team according to production needs and customer requirements.
- Prepare and print Dear Flight Attendant letters or similar communication documents for substitutions, changes, or customer-specific updates.
- Support production teams by ensuring required documentation is available before production deadlines.
- Learn and apply catering-specific details, customer requirements, aircraft galley layouts, and operational nuances.
- Communicate discrepancies, missing information, software issues, or urgent production changes to leadership in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records, printed materials, and work areas to support efficient production flow.
- Follow all company policies, food safety requirements, confidentiality standards, and customer procedures.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the country of employment
- Ability to work onsite and in operational environments
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow safety procedures and food handling guidelines
- Previous experience in airline catering, food production, quality control, or a related field preferred
- Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
