Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting an Industrial Reliability & Equipment Performance Specialist to join one of our valued client partners in Phoenix, Arizona
. This onsite opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and operational efficiency are essential to production success.
The selected candidate will support continuous manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment while contributing to preventive maintenance initiatives, equipment reliability programs, and continuous process improvement. This position requires flexibility to support a permanent third-shift schedule with overtime during peak production periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives to maximize equipment performance.
- Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs.
- Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and production support reports accurately.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities while minimizing production downtime.
- Support continuous improvement projects that increase equipment reliability, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain maintenance shops, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Utilize company maintenance software and computer applications to document maintenance activities.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all state and federal safety requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational goals.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Experience working with valves, actuators, gaskets, seals, and HTST processing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office;
Microsoft Teams experience is beneficial. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
. - Ability to work a permanent third shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) with required overtime, weekends, and flexible scheduling during peak production periods.
- Ability to successfully complete a computer-based maintenance skills assessment during the interview process.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- Previous food, beverage, dairy, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting principles.
- PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.
- Experience working within TPM, RCM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement environments.
- Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Stable employment history demonstrating continued technical growth within industrial maintenance.
- Compensation: $32.00 per hour.
