Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Manufacturing Engineer role in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam to support machining operations.
• Collaborate with machinists, production teams, and quality personnel to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Analyze production data and workflows to identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Support new product introductions, including process development, tooling design, and validation.
• Provide technical support on CNC machining, tooling selection, and fixture design.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in equipment selection, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and support operators on new processes and programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a machining environment.
• Required experience with Mastercam programming for CNC machining.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and fixturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
