* ** Job Summary*
* Responsible for production work orders specific to their product line and/or work cell assignment. Responsible for knowing, following, and not deviating from the appropriate procedures assigned to their product line and/or work cell. Must have ability to show proficiency in their assigned area by having approved competencies. Must also have the ability to work in a team environment and have attention to detail.

In addition, promotes a continuous improvement culture through a team focus on safety, product quality, employee engagement and productivity in order to deliver the highest quality product to customers.

** What will you do:*
* + Completes repetitive tasks and follows procedures along with written and verbal instructions; works on production line duties for majority of scheduled shift

+ Manages time and resources effectively through good organizational skills and through use of independent decision making.

+ Displays versatility and flexibility on a regular basis within department

+ Meets goals as defined within Stryker key success factors of Quality First, Customer Experience, Innovation, People Development, and Financial Results

+ Responsible for line/area/cell performance to targets

+ Responsible for tracking and updating on relevant metrics (as needed) and recording/tracking efficiency issues or concerns.

+ Responsible for communicating instructions, suggestions, and initiatives in a positive manner

+ Strives for operational excellence by promoting a team-based, product-focused organization, contributing to continuous improvement and 5S, participating in safety programs, and regularly providing ideas for process improvement or cost reduction

+ Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance team's performance and meeting all training and documentation criteria.

+ Invests in employee involvement and development by being responsible and accountable, being passionate towards the success of the business, treating all with dignity and respect and by fostering personal growth.

+ Provides feedback on process or procedure improvements

+ Leads small production team within one manufacturing line in relation to cell needs at the production level

** What you need:*
* + 3yrs of experience in a Manufacturing leadership role or related experience

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Proven experience with outside leadership or involvement in "champion/captain" role or similar

Preferred

+ Prior leadership experience in manufacturing/production role

+ Training and development experience

$27.00/hr plus bonus potential and benefits.
