This role is intended for module equipment technicians to report to the Planar/ CMP / TSV departments. This role has opportunities across all shifts (4/5/6/7) as needed per functional area.

The Module Equipment Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
• Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives.
• Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication.

This position is for a Compressed Work Week Schedule with availability on all shifts (4/5/6/7) in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab
52/42/32/12).

Compressed Work Week shifts tend to be 12-hour shifts from 6 to 6.

Shift 4 – Night front half of week – PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights

Shift 5 – Days front half of week – AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days

Shift 6 – Night back half of week – PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday night

Shift 7 – Days back half of week – AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant previous job, and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications

• The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of related hands-on experience OR military technical experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ year Technical/trade certification OR 2+ years technical experience.
• Associate degree in STEM Related field.
• Experience performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent experience).
• This position requires:
• Lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average)
• Climb and perform work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Engineering-Tech experience
• Planarization and polishing process knowledge.
• Military experience
• Advanced Node Semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment.
• Experience in planar/ CMP ( PLI, Applied Material, Reflexion LK prime) functional area.
• Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• Knowledge of process control systems.
• Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
