CNC Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining equipment. The successful candidate will prepare and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills under minimal supervision, perform simple to complex setups, change tools such as inserts, drills, and mills, and perform programming edits while verifying changes through inspection methods. Additionally, the candidate will generate CNC programs using available CAM programming software and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of cutting feeds and speeds, as well as tool composition and application.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills with minimal supervision.
- Perform tool changes and programming edits as required.
- Generate CNC programs using CAM programming software.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas following the 5 S's.
- Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure precision.
- Read and comprehend instructions and blueprints in English.
Essential Skills
- 5 or more years of experience as a Level 3 CNC Machinist.
- Proficiency in writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
- Proficiency with CAD and CAM software, specifically MasterCAM.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and instructions in English.
- Experience with measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Mathematical skills to handle basic arithmetic operations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.

Work Environment
This position is based inside our Phoenix facility, working the 1st shift from 5:30 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday. The role involves working with advanced CNC machinery in a clean and organized setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $83200.00/yr. Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Disability insurance
