Intel Foundry is increasing its investment in lithography metrology technology, implementing a new Win It Inline initiative using advanced real-time monitoring to improve yield learning cycles. Investing in inline metrology will give engineers more data throughout the manufacturing process, as opposed to waiting for end of the line data - a fundamental shift in how we leverage data to build chips.

This role is intended for module equipment technicians to report to the Litho department. This role has opportunities across all shifts (4/5/6/7) as needed per functional area.

The Module Equipment Technician will be responsible for but not limited to:
  • Perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
  • Equipment maintenance and repair, equipment troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives.
  • Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication.
  • This position is for a Compressed Work Week Schedule with availability on all shifts in Ocotillo Technology Fabrication (Fab
    52/42/32/12).

Compressed Work Week shifts tend to be 12‑hour shifts from 6 to 6.

Shift 4 - Night front half of week - PM‑AM Sun‑Tues and alternating Saturday nights

Shift 5 - Days front half of week - AM‑PM Sun‑Tues and alternating Wednesday days

Shift 6 - Night back half of week - PM‑AM Wed‑Sat and alternating Saturday night

Shift 7 - Days back half of week - AM‑PM Thurs‑Sat and alternating Wednesday days

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) 4 times a day. Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of related hands‑on experience OR military technical experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ years in a related equipment maintenance role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent AND 1+ year Technical/trade certification OR 1+ years technical experience.
  • Associate degree in STEM Related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
  • Advanced Node Semiconductor manufacturing experience in a production environment.
  • Experience in Lithography functional area.
  • Experience performing hands‑on preventative, corrective maintenance on 300mm semiconductor equipment (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of process control systems.
  • Experience with schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
